Zippity Doo Dah!

Well...big news here...

I quit my freakin' job! Woohoo! Independence Day is at hand, my friends!!

I've been underpaid and under appreciated for far too long. After 5 years, I'm STILL not making what I was making at my last job. Screw that! I got lousy raises two years in a row. (Thirty cents an hour? How insulting is that?!) I'm NOT sticking around for another. And I'm certainly not sticking around long enough for them to cut my hours even more.

The thing that gets me is that everyone is acting all shocked. Did they really think I was dumb enough to hang around forever? Not this kid.

Yeah, there are clients that I'll miss. (Yes, Judy, you are one of them.) But the time has come for me to move on. And hey, there's one I won't miss...and that would be the client that hired me at almost $2 an hour more :) LOL.

Freedom is on the horizon, boys and girls. I can almost smell it.
