29...yet again!

Well, it's October again already! Can you even believe it? So help me, I never thought I'd get to the age when time would go by so quickly.

If you'll recall my first entry in this blog, I'd just gotten myself a tattoo. My birthday gift to myself for my...29th birthday. Now - lo and behold, my birthday is upon me again. Making myself a birthday CD as we speak, actually.

Anyway, no tattoos this year. I don't think so, at least. One can never be sure, you know. Michael is bringing me to Las Vegas and San Francisco for my birthday. And you know how we are - anything is possible. I'll consider the trip successful if we don't need to call anyone to put up bail.

In other news...the 2006-2007 Amoskeag River Rats have been drafted. Didn't get everyone I wanted, but I got the 3 guys I wanted most. Got Sidney Crosby. He's just a kid, but he's a kid with the potential to be the second coming of Gretzky. God Daniel Alfredsson. Last season, he was by far my most productive player. Also got Miroslav Satan. Had to have him again this season just because of his name.

I also picked up a free agent the other day. Brendan Witt. Last season, only one guy in the NHL had more minutes in the penalty box. Yeah, I got myself a goon. Figure every team needs to have one, right?

Alright, I'm gonna jet for now. I'll keep you posted on the River Rats, of course. And vacation? Well, we'll see how much I tell you about that. ;)
